How we work
The wire
Wire briefs are short summaries of what other publications and official sources have reported. Each names the publication it comes from and links to it; the story, and the credit, belong to them. Briefs are drafted with AI and checked automatically against the source for dates, names, places and amounts. Briefs from sources with an established record of clean copy publish once they pass that check. A brief the check flags, and every brief from any other source, waits for an editor.
Stories
Stories are our own reporting. Drafting is AI-assisted, under human editorial control. Every factual claim carries a numbered citation to the source it rests on, and a story whose claims cannot all be traced to a source cannot be published. Quoted words must have an attributable origin. Claims about deals, hires and departures, layoffs, closures or non-public financials are confirmed by a person before publication. Nothing is published automatically: an editor publishes every story.
Bylines
AVGC-XR Desk means the story was written by the desk from the public record. Dushyant Kashyap means he reported or interviewed for it himself. There are no other bylines.
Commercial relationships
Coverage is not for sale. When a story concerns an organisation with a commercial relationship with AVGC-XR, an editor decides before publication whether it carries a disclosure, and where it does, the disclosure appears at the top of the story. See how we work with partners.
Corrections
When a published story gets something wrong, we add a correction to it, with the time it was made. We do not silently rewrite the original. To report an error, write to editor@avgcxr.in.
