Tom & Jerry: Forbidden Compass releases with exclusive Tuffy keychains at PVR Inox
AnimationXpress reports that PVR Inox has launched exclusive Tuffy keychains ahead of the 23 October release of Tom & Jerry: Forbidden Compass, a fully 3D CGI feature presented by Zee Studios and directed by Gang Zhang. The officially licensed PVC collectibles, priced at Rs 899 each, are available in Tuffy Angel and Tuffy Devil designs across more than 50 select PVR Inox cinemas in 13 Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune, with limited stock. The film marks the franchise's first fully CGI feature, with animation by ReDefine Animation, a global VFX and animation company. It transports the rivals to an ancient world inspired by Eastern mythology guarded by mythical beings. PVR Inox CEO Gautam Dutta said the keychains "offer fans an accessible collectible featuring a much-loved character while creating an additional retail opportunity around the film's release," noting strong past response to film-inspired merchandise in driving engagement and sales.
